The practice is an approved Training Practice for GP Registrars and have been privileged to have a series of delightful and distinguished young doctors with us for part of their training before going onto General Practice on their own.

Administration

The administration team is responsible for dealing with new patient registrations, patient records, referrals, medical reports and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Reception

Mrs Sarah Wisdom is the Reception Team Manager and is responsible for the receptionists and the applications for on-line services.  Please contact her if you have any queries on these matters.

The practice has a large team of receptionists who are here to help you. They provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.

Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. Any matters concerning our patients will always be treated in confidence, as receptionists are bound by the same codes of conduct as the doctors. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries.

Kirsty is a Social Prescriber who works for Imago. Temi is a Clinical Pharmacist.  Michael & Iris are Physicians Associates. Charlotte is a Paramedic.  All have been appointed by the Medway Peninsula Primary Care Network (PCN) and will work with the member practices of the PCN, of which Highparks Medical Practice is one.
