Training practice

Highparks is a training doctor’s surgery.

This means we help new doctors (registrars) learn their job before they work on their own.

We are proud to support these doctors while they are training.

GP net earnings

The NHS says doctor surgeries must share how much doctors are paid on average.

This number can be a bit confusing, because it does not show how many hours each doctor works. Some doctors work part‑time, so the number should not be used to make guesses or compare doctors at different surgeries.

At Highparks Medical Practice, the average pay for doctors last year was £64,981 before tax.

This average is based on 13 part‑time doctors and 1 temporary doctor who worked at the practice for more than six months.
